Industrial Fire Reported in Savannah

SAVANNAH, Tenn. – Emergency workers in Savannah spent their afternoon fighting an industrial fire. Officials said firefighters received the call to Praxis Industries, a bath equipment and supplies manufacturer, just after 2:30 p.m., Friday. When fire crews arrived, heavy smoke was coming from part of the building. As of late 5:00 p.m. Friday, firefighters remained on the scene checking for any remaining hot spots. No workers were reported injured at Praxis but one firefighter reportedly became overheated and was also treated for smoke inhalation. There is no word on what started the fire.
