Fatal ATV Crash
Official say a 39-year-old Iuka woman was killed in an ATV crash in the Lake Mohawk area of Tippah County. Deputy Coroner Chris McCallister says Lori Hale McKee died in the incident that happened around 8:30 p.m. Friday. McKee was the driver of a Gator-like vehicle that overturned at the entrance to Lake Mohawk. McCallister says McKee was thrown through the windshield and had massive internal injuries. Another woman was injured in the crash. She was transported to the hospital in Booneville and was treated and released.
