RIFA Thrift Store Moving Sale This Week

JACKSON, Tenn. – If you are looking for a good deal on clothes this week, workers with the Regional Inter-Faith Association said their thrift store is the place to go. This week, RIFA is hosting a moving sale Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m at its thift store. All clothing, shoes and handbags in the store are 50 percent off. Workers said they are trying to get rid of a lot of the clothing, because they are moving to a new location on Airways Boulevard next week. “Obviously it’s time to kind’ve clear out summer merchandise and get ready to put fall merchandise on the floor, and so the timing of the move just made that a perfect fit, so that it’s less for us to move to the new location,” said Lisa Tillman, Executive Director of RIFA. RIFA workers said even though they are trying to get rid of some clothes, they will still be accepting donations. Money from the thrift store sales goes to RIFA to help fund their daily charitable operations.
