Old Hickory Shooting Suspects Appears in Court

JACKSON, Tenn.- A man facing charges in connection with a shooting in west Jackson last week made a court appearance, Wednesday. Jeremy Jones, 20, was facing charges in connection with a shooting along Old Hickory Boulevard last Wednesday. Police told 7 Eyewitness News that Jones confronted a man at The Villages Apartments and began shooting at him. One of the shots also hit a window of a nearby business almost striking an employee. Jones is charged with reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon and vandalism. The judge set his bond at $150,000 and scheduled Jones to return to court September 6.
