Union City Police Search for Club Owner Assault Suspects

UNION CITY, Tenn. – Union City Police are searching for two men who are accused of assaulting a local club owner. The Blue Marble Club manager said early Tuesday morning, two black men came into the building. He believed they were more than likely planning to burglarize his club. According to the club manager, a fight broke out and one of the men stabbed him in the back with a small knife, but only caused minor injuries. The men then fled on foot. One of the suspects was described as a black man, about 5 feet 4 inches tall, short braided hair, and was last seen wearing red shorts and a black shirt. The second suspect is also a black man, about 6 feet tall and weighing 250 pounds, wearing black pants, and no shirt. Both men were described as being in their early-to-mid 20s.
