U of M Lambuth Holds First Convocation

JACKSON, Tenn. – University of Memphis Lambuth Campus welcomed its first group of freshman Thursday with a convocation. University of Memphis President Shirley Raines was the featured speaker and she encouraged students to be dreamers, thinkers, and doers during their college career. School officials are expecting 600 students to be enrolled for the fall semester. One Student, Olivia Morton, said the convocation inspired her to never give up on pursuing her dreams.” To help me reach for my goals, it inspires me to keep on, be determined you know don’t quit because I’m there. I’m already there.”
