UNION CITY, Tenn. – Chaos in Walmart caused a Union City man to be behind bars. Police said Zachary Harper, 21, was in the Union City Walmart when he started yelling and throwing things off the shelves. Investigators after running outside the Walmart, Harper then attempted to re-enter but workers would not allow him in. He is accused of then pulling out a knife and threatening the workers with it. Officers said when they arrived at the scene the 21-year-old was yelling “I wanted to kill someone!” No one was injured, but residents said they are scared that something like that could happen at a place like Walmart, where people shop every day. Harper is being held in the Obion County Jail on $10,000 bond.
