Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Truck
SAVANNAH, Tenn.- A Florida man was killed early Friday morning in Hardin County after troopers said he walked in front of a semi. The collision happened around 1:30 a.m. on Highway 69, about 10 miles south of Savannah. Troopers said James Douglas Price, 50, of Leesburg, Florida got out of a vehicle and walked across the highway in front of the big rig. The driver of the semi which was carrying a load of metal, was not hurt.
