4-H Chicken Shack Readies for 50th Anniversary

JACKSON, Tenn. – The Madison County 4-H group is prepping to showcase its famous chicken and pork chops to celebrate their 50th anniversary. The group makes hundreds of chickens and pork chops to raise money for kids involved in the 4-H organization. “It’s kinda like a family affair type deal where you come down here and sit and enjoy your meal and have a good time at the fair,” said Kane Reeves. Reeves said they are hoping to raise enough money to send 16 kids to the 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus to learn more about federal government.
