NAACP To Hold State Conference In Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. – It has been 20 years since the West Tennessee has played host to the state NAACP Convention and Civil Rights Advocacy Conference. The NAACP held a press conference detailing the 66th Annual event. Delegates from around the state of Tennessee will come to Jackson to train and network. Members of the organization said there is still work to be done in the community ,”Make sure we refuse to give up, we got to be vigilant, we got to make sure that we do what’s necessary to be a part of this democracy,” said Gloria Sweet-Love.
