RIFA Getting Settled in New Building

JACKSON, Tenn.- RIFA is getting settled in after more than a week of moving into its new downtown Jackson location. RIFA is now located in the old Nando Jones building on Airways Boulevard, which is much larger than its old locations on North Highland. So far, the administration offices have been set up and the thrift store has been totally moved and is open for business. “Making sure that it flows properly from the point where folks come and drop off their donations to where it’s placed or to be sorted for the thrift store, our food banks, snack backpack and our shelf grocery area,” said Jenni Thorn, community outreach director with RIFA. RIFA officials said they hope to have everything completely done in about a month.However, all programs are operating out of the new building.
