Bolivar Residents Remember 9/11

HARDEMAN COUNTY, Tenn. – No matter how far away you were, the morning of September 11 still stings many people across the country. Firefighters with the Bolivar Fire Department remembers the hundreds of first responders who died trying to save thousands. “You always feel sadness its that time of the morning you think this when it happened even though it was a 11 years ago this morning at that time it still hits your heart,” said Kim Nucholls. Bolivar firefighters raised the American Flag in honor of the many lives lost preparing for a remembrance prayer. Chief Lynn Price said though it happened miles away he will always remember. “Only thing I remember about Pearl Harbor is in history books, but with 9/11 it’s kinda like we was here, we know what happen, we’ve seen the devastation.”
