JACKSON, Tenn.- Students at Jackson Christian School are giving back to those in need. Friday, they presented a $1,000 check to Reinbow Riding Academy, a hippotherapy program through West Tennessee Healthcare. It is all part of the school’s new Power of One program, where students raise money for a different non-profit organization every month. In making their first check donations, students said it felt great to give back. “It’s just such an incredible opportunity to be able to do this,” said Haylee Brooks, a JCS senior. “They’ve really taught us about just how one can change so much.” JCS’s next non-profit is the American Cancer Society for Breast Cancer Research. Students hope to raise $1,500.
