THP Investigates Fatal Wreck

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. – The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal wreck that occurred in Gibson County. It happened Saturday night in near Trenton at the intersection Highway 54 and Frog Jump Brazil Road. Reports show Magan Porter was traveling Northbound on Hwy 54 when she hit a driveway embankment. Porter’s car over turned, and she died of her injuries according to THP. Official said Porter was not wearing a seat belt which they believe could have saved her life. No other cars were involved in the wreck.
