Harts Bridge Road Crash

JACKSON, Tenn.- Traffic was brought to a standstill, Tuesday evening following a one-car crash in south Jackson. Jackson police said around 6:30, a car was headed west on Harts Bridge Road when the driver lost control and hit a utility pole, splitting it in half. Three people in the car were taken to a Jackson hospital with what are believe to be non life-threatening injuries. Utility crews also worked to replace the damaged utility pole. One lane of Harts Bridge was finally able to reopen around 8 p.m. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
