Woman Accused of Stealing Bank Money for Drugs

A former bank employee has been charged with stealing more than $80,000 from a Hancock Bank branch in Biloxi to support her drug habit. A criminal complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Gulfport on Monday charges Ashley Keel with taking the money from the bank’s vault from April to August. The complaint says that Keel was the vault teller and admitted to FBI agents that she took the money to support an addition to Oxycodone. She’s charged with embezzlement.
