Police Seek Identity of Walmart Shoplifting Suspect

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson police are asking for the public‘s help to identify a shoplifting suspect. According to a news release, the suspect took items from both Walmart locations in the city during separate incidents. The first incident occurred around 4:00 a.m. on September 15 at the Walmart on South Highland Avenue. In this incident a black female wearing a disposable mask reportedly stole two 46″ televisions with a total value in excess of $1,000.00. The second incident occurred around 10:00 p.m. on September 16 at the Walmart on Emporium Drive. In that incident, police said a black female loaded a shopping cart with about $200 in merchandise and left without making payment. In both instances, police said the suspect appears to be driving the same vehicle which appeared to be a dark colored Mercury Marquis or Ford Crown Victoria with faded paint.
