ALAMO, Tenn.- Thieves walked into a farm shop on Highway 152 in Crockett County and rode off with two, all-terrain vehicles valued at $35,000. “Anger boils up pretty bad you just thought of somebody just coming in and taking something because they felt like they can or they felt like they need something more than we do,” said victim Stoney Hargett. One of the suspects was caught after trying to trade an ATV in Jackson. The VIN in the data base indicated the vehicle was stolen. The other ATV was found shortly after in Lake County. Deputies saId Tony Oglesby and Timothy Peterson rode off with the vehicles and Ashley Oglesby dropped the men off at the farm shop. The men face charges including theft of $10,000 but less than $60,000. Ashley Oglesby is charged with Felony Criminal Trespassing. “The VIN number is what caught them,” said Hargett. Two of the three suspects are free on bond. All three are scheduled to appear in Crockett County Court next Thursday.
