Search for Missing Benton County 4-Year-Old and Mother
BENTON COUNTY, Tenn.- Investigators in Benton County are calling the disappearance of a 4-year-old boy and his mother a possible family abduction. The Benton County Sheriff’s Department and the TBI said Ayden Smith, 4 was last seen with his non-custodial mother, Jessica Coleman, near Big Sandy on October 4 at approximately 8 p.m. Ayden was to be returned to his father after visitation and is believed to be traveling with his mother. A custodial interference warrant has been issued for Coleman. Ayden Smith is 3 feet tall and weighs 35 pounds. Jessica Coleman is 5-feet 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.
