Multiple Arrests after Multi-County Sweep

JACKSON, Tenn., – 50 officers from 27 agencies took part in a multi-juristictional violent crimes and gang task force. Their mission is simple: take crime off the streets. Chief Gill Kendrick, of the Jackson Police Department, said, “It’s awesome. I can’t recall ever being aware of any type of activity like this in the entirety of my career.” Numbers of those arrest have not been released . Officials say more saturation efforts will follow.
