Catalytic Converters Stolen from Milan Business

MILAN, Tenn. – Milan police are looking for the thief or thieves who stole 10 catalytic converters from a local business. It happened at Emert Auto sometime late Monday night, or early Tuesday morning. The owner reportedly told police he believed the thief jacked up the vehicles to get under them to cut off the catalytic converters. According to the owner, the thief got away with 10 converters from 10 vehicles worth about $2,000 in all. Police said they are not sure yet if this theft is related to a similar theft in Humboldt earlier this month.
