Jackson Couple Arrested on Drug Charges

JACKSON, Tenn. – One Jackson couple has been arrested after officers found drugs in their North Jackson home. Robert Newsom, 30, and Angelica Ross, 29, were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers served a narcotics search warrant at a home on the 700 block of East Walker Road, where they found several packages of marijuana and more than $3,000. Officers said they also found packaging materials and other drug paraphernalia. Newsom and Ross are currently free on $5,000 bond.
