Lane College Celebrates Homecoming
JACKSON, Tenn. – Lane College kicked off its homecoming game with a parade Saturday morning. Students and alumni gathered on the school’s campus to watch the parade. Local fraternity and sorority members, along with several high school marching bands, made floats and performed music for the parade. For some alumni, this event is the highlight of homecoming. “This is momentus,” said Gerald Thomas, a Lane alumnus. “Everybody gets an opportunity to come back and see each other. We see the accomplishments of those who went to school with us. We come back and we just reminisce.”
