Suites of LaRue Open in Downtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.- There is yet another reason to celebrate renewal in downtown Jackson. A ribbon cutting ceremony was held Tuesday for downtown’s latest residential development, “The Suites of LaRue.” Members of the community and representatives with John Allen Construction Company, which completed the project, cut the ribbon on the new development. Those in attendance were also able to go inside for a sneak-peek and tour the new residential living complex. Officials said they hope the new building brings something extra to the downtown area. “We just kept on plugging and was able to pull something out of the ashes as well as make something that we hope will make a difference downtown and just bring more people down here,” said John Allen, developer and owner of “The Suites of LaRue.” The new apartment complex is one of many being developed downtown, including the Jackson Walk project, which is slated to open next year nearby on North Highland Avenue.
