Council Passes Some Generals Park Improvements

JACKSON, Tenn,- Last month, owners of the Jackson Generals asked the city for $200,000 to make improvements to Pringles Park. Tuesday, the City Council passed some of the improvement requests. Members of the Jackson City Council agreed to give $161,000 to help with improvements. They include improving lighting on the field and bringing it up to MILB standards, box office renovations as well as improvements to box office and concessions equipment. Officials with the Jackson Generals said the approval of the funds would help the park in the long run.
