Milan Officer Arrested and Charged with Firing a Shot in Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn. – A Milan Police officer appeared in Jackson City Court, Friday. He is accused for firing his gun in Jackson. Spencer Johnson is charged with reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon. Court documents said Johnson allegedly fired a shot in the air during Lane College Homecoming activities after an argument with a civilian. Johnson is scheduled to return to court on December 20. His bond was set at $15,000. He has been suspended with pay from his position at the Milan Police Department.
