West Tennessean Killed in Car Crash

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Tenn.- According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, an early morning wreck, Sunday, claimed the life of a West Tennessee man. THP said Christopher Burks, 20, was traveling west on Central Curve Road when his Toyota hit a guard rail, causing his vehicle to roll over. Burks was ejected from the car, and THP said he was not wearing his seat belt. A family friend said Burks was headed home at the time of the crash. Burks’ family lives in Jackson.
