Humboldt Ministerial Association Hands Out Thanksgiving Meals

GIBSON COUNTY, Tenn. – For almost 20 years, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church with the Helping Hand organization has been preparing thanksgiving meals for dozens in the Humboldt area. Humboldt church members made plates of food for shut-ins and people in need. The meals are put on the van and hand delivered to residents in the city. Members told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News it takes a lot of work to make all the meals, but it is worth it. Church members say they have served more than 600 meals in the last three years.
