Marijuana Plants Found in Bolivar Home

BOLIVAR, Tenn- Bolivar Police arrested two men, 31-year old Mark Anderson and his brother, 25-year old Anthony “Josh” Anderson, after finding more than 60 marijuana plants in the Bolivar home they shared with their parents. The Anderson brothers are charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell. Police say lights and reflectors were found with the marijuana. The mother and father of the two suspects say they had no idea what the police say their sons were doing in their home. “I don’t believe the parents had any knowledge of what was going on upstairs in their home,” said Investigator Shane Swift, of the Bolivar Police Department. Swift says the parents have not been charged; but the charges for the Anderson brothers are only beginning. He says they started investigating Josh Anderson for prescription fraud earlier this month. Both brothers are also being investigated for burglaries that happened in Hardeman County.
