Madison Co. Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of CO Man

MADISON COUNTY, Tenn. – A Colorado man is behind bars Saturday, after Madison County narcotics officers said they arrested him during a traffic stop. According to officers, Hugh Walker was on his way to Colorado from North Carolina, when they pulled him over along Interstate 40 in Madison County for a traffic violation. They said he had more than three pounds of marijuana, and a digital scale. The marijuana has an estimated street value of $5,200. Investigators said they charged Walker with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of seatbelt law.
