Man Charged with Stealing Jewelry from a Home

LEXINGTON, Tenn. – Henderson County authorities have arrested a man who allegedly stole jewelry from a friend‘s home. According to the Henderson County Sheriff‘s Department, Jacob Holden, 18, is charged with theft of property over $1,000. He was taken into custody Wednesday. Investigators said a woman came home from work to find that some of her jewelry was missing. After consulting with a family member, she told investigators that Holden was supposed to come to her home to retrieve a bass guitar and amplifier that had been there. While in the home, it is believed Holden stole the jewelry. Holden reportedly admitted to investigators that he went to the home but stated that he only got his bass guitar and amplifier. Deputies said they found that Holden attempted to sell some of the jewelry to a co-worker and also sold some of the items to Lexington Jewelers. Holden was released from the Henderson County Jail after posting a $2,000 bond.
