Three Candidates for JMCSS Superintendent Withdraw

JACKSON, Tenn. – Three of the six people interviewed for the superintendent position at the Jackson-Madison County School System have withdrawn their names from consideration. An email was sent out Monday morning to board members indicating that BWP & Associates, the firm in charge of the search, advised that Neyland Clark, Karyle Green, and Dan Lawson have withdrawn their name as candidates. That leaves three remaining candidates: Terence Patterson, Verna Ruffin and Dr. Timothy Webb. The school board is set to meet tonight to determine finalists for the position. They were expected to select three finalists for the job, but any changes to the purpose of the the meeting have not been announced.
