Man Accused of Stealing from Henderson County Home

HENDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. – A Lexington man was arrested and charged with stealing from a home in Henderson County. According to the Henderson County Sheriff‘s Department, Joseph Luke Harris, 27, was taken into custody Monday and charged with aggravated burglary, theft of property over $1,000 and possession of schedule II narcotics with intent to resell. According to investigators, a family living in the 2900 block of Pollock Road in Henderson County went to church Sunday, December 2, 2012 and reported finding that their home had been burglarized when they returned. Investigators said the thieves stole televisions, jewelry, a gaming system, laptop computer, digital camera, microwave, princess bicycle, scooter and a table lamp. The total value of the items stolen was estimated at $3,300. Authorities reported that Harris had methamphetamine in his possession when he was arrested. Investigators expect to make other arrests in connection with the case.
