Man Charged in Ripley Murder

RIPLEY, Tenn.- Authorities in Lauderdale County have officially charged a man they believe is responsible for the murder during the robbery of a Ripley gas station. Kevin Grandberry of Covington has been charged with felony first degree murder and especially aggravated robbery. He appeared in a Lauderdale County court, Friday and his bond was set at $500,000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for January 25. Grandberry also has pending criminal charges in Fayette, Tipton and Hardeman Counties.
