New Candidates for JMCSS Superintendent Identified

JACKSON, Tenn. – The two additional candidates to be interviewed for the Jackson-Madison County School System‘s superintendent position have been identified. Dr. David Huss and Alan Coverstone will be interviewed by the school board on Wednesday. Huss is currently the Superintendent for Obion County Schools. Coverstone is the Executive Director of Innovation for Metro Nashville Public Schools. The two will be interviewed Wednesday beginning at 5:30 p.m. Prior to the interviews at 4:30 p.m., the board will meet to discuss the exit interviews for the three candidates who pulled their names from consideration for the job. The other three candidates remaining in the search for the next superintendent for the system are Dr. Terence Patterson, Verna Ruffin and Dr. Tim Webb. The board is scheduled to meet Thursday at 4:00 p.m. to discuss the next step in the search.
