Another Withdraws as Candidate for JMCSS Superintendent

JACKSON, Tenn. – A fourth candidate has pulled his name from consideration for the top post at Jackson-Madison County Schools. Dr. Tim Webb, who is currently a principal in Giles County, has notified officials he no longer wants to be considered for the superintendent job. That leaves two of the original six candidates interviewed by the school board (Dr. Terence Patterson and Verna Ruffin) along with two additional candidates who will be interviewed Wednesday evening (David Huss and Alan Coverstone). The Jackson-Madison County School Board is scheduled to meet and discuss exit interviews for the candidates who have pulled out of the race at 4:30 p.m., Wednesday. Interviews for the additional candidates are scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m.
