JMCSS Superintendent Search Down to Three
JACKSON, Tenn. – Three people remain in the search for a new superintendent for Jackson-Madison County Schools. Thursday night, the school board met to discuss the four remaining candidates and who they would invite back for a second interview. After discussing the thoughts of board members on each of the candidates, the board voted to eliminate David Huss, current superintendent in the Obion County School System, from consideration for the job. That leaves Dr. Terence Patterson, Verna Ruffin and Alan Coverstone in the hunt for a new leader for the school system. Those three will be invited back for second interviews at the beginning of January. The board is choosing a new superintendent to replace Buddy White, who plans to retire in June 2013.
