Shoppers Brave Snow To Find Deals
JACKSON, Tenn. – Although many West Tennesseans woke up to find their cars covered in snow, many still braved the cold and wet conditions to shop after-Christmas sales. “We were coming snow or rain. You can’t beat these deals so we were coming to get some good stuff and we did,” said Jennifer Phillips. The icy conditions and strong winds failed to stop people from shopping in the Columns. “I was waiting intentionally until the sales day at Old Navy to make a quick stop in there,” said Kim Brannon. Many shoppers used their lunch breaks to take advantage. “”I’m actually working today and I’m just making a quick stop while I’m out working. I’ve been in the in healthcare a long time so the weather‘s never stopped us. We have to get out and take care of business regardless of whether there is bad weather or not,” said Brannon.
