Jackson Police Investigating Drive-by Shooting

JACKSON, Tenn. – Jackson Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that sent a man to the hospital early Friday morning. Police said they responded to Park Ridge Apartments around 3:45 a.m. to a shots-fired call, but could not find evidence that shots were fired in that area. The victim told police he was riding in a vehicle along Dr F E Wright Drive at that time, when a bullet came through the window and struck him in the arm. Officers said the driver dropped him off at a local hospital and left. Police are still looking for the shooter.
