New Piece of Art Installed in Downtown Jackson

JACKSON, Tenn.- There is a new addition to the new Lift Center in downtown Jackson. It is not a new building, but a piece of art. Wednesday, the 20 plus foot art installation was put into place right in front of the Lift Wellness Center, along North Highland Avenue. The piece was created by Brain Russell, a Memphis artist who used glass and forged metal. It represents health and wellness. The sculpture cost just more than $20,000 and was paid for by Healthy Community, LLC, the company that is developing the area.
