La Vergne woman killed in home fire
LA VERGNE, Tenn. (AP) – A mobile home fire has killed a woman in La Vergne and injured her son who tried to save her. WSMV-TV reported the fire broke out Monday morning. City spokesman Kathy Tyson said a police officer was the first responder to reach the trailer and reported heavy flames. The name of the victim wasn’t immediately released.
