West Tennesseans Take “Polar Plunge” for Good Cause

JACKSON, Tenn. – Dozens of West Tennesseans braved the cold water and weather, Saturday, to raise money for a good cause. It is for the Third Annual Special Olympics Polar Plunge, held this year at Aloha Pools and Spas. Participants jumped into a cold pool to raise money for the Special Olympics. They told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News being freezing wet was well worth it. Organizers said the water was below 40 degrees.
