“Taste of Jackson” Raises Funds for March of Dimes

JACKSON, Tenn.- Food lovers from all over West Tennessee gathered in downtown Jackson Thursday night to treat their taste buds while helping a great cause. More than 25 vendors were set up at the Carl Perkins Civic Center for the 27th annual March of Dimes Taste of Jackson. Diners got the chance to try cuisine from the area’s best restaurants, all while helping to raise money for the March of Dimes in the quest for healthier babies. “I think the cause is wonderful, because I am all about the March of Dimes, so, the food is great,” said Janiece Wright, who came all the way from Dyersburg. “We’ve tried a little bit of everything so far and everything was good.” Several hundred people attended Thursday night’s event.
