Former Henry Co. Deputy Circuit Court Clerk Indicted
HENRY COUNTY, Tenn.- A former Henry County Deputy Circuit Court Clerk had been indicted related to a case missing funds from the clerk’s office while employed there. According the the TBI, Deanna Treece, 63, of Springville, was indicted by the grand jury on one count of official misconduct and one count of theft of more than $10,000. Approximately $29,000 was discovered missing by a state audit of the office between July 2007 and August 2011. Treece was booked into the Henry County Jail, Tuesday and is being held on a $10,000 bond. She will appear in court, Monday.
