GRAND JUNCTION, Tenn.- WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News has an update on the story on Grand Junction’s police force. Reports said aldermen of the Hardeman County town of more than 300 vote unanimously on Monday to hire three police officers part-time. The idea was presented by Mayor Curtis Lane as a way to remain within a tight city budget. The decision came a month after the Grand Junction Board of Alderman dimissed former Chief Justin Powers on a 5-1 vote.
