Henry Co. Shooting Victim Dies, Second Victim Still Hospitlaized

HENRY COUNTY, Tenn.-One of the victims of the attempted double murder-suicide near Paris, earlier this month, has died. Sheriff Monte Belew said Virginia Baxter, 66, was shot by her husband John inside their Henry County home on March 11. Belew said Baxter died at a Nashville hospital, Wednesday. The couple’s daughter, who officers said was also shot remains hospitalized. At last check, she was listed in stable condition. According to investigators, John Baxter died from a self-inflected gunshot wound.
