Car Runs Through JTA Fence, Hits Bus

JACKSON, Tenn,- Jackson police investigating an early morning crash that left one man injured after his car hit a parked Jackson Transit Authority headquarters on Eutah Street. Police said a man from Hardeman County drove his vehicle thru the fence at the JTA facility around 2:45 a.m. and ended up striking the bus. Investigators said he was traveling at a high speed, believed to be more than 50 miles an hour. The man was taken to a local hospital where he was treated and released. JTA has fixed the damaged fence and say they have fully secured their facility for the weekend. There’s no estimate on the cost of repairing the damaged bus and the investigation is ongoing.
