Audit Shows Misused Fuel Card, Missing Evidence in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Tenn- New controversy for the Grand Junction Police Department in Hardeman County, after the state Comptroller released findings from an audit. According to the newly released report, when former Police Chief, Pat Ryan was in office, there was property seized by the Grand Junction Police Department that could not be located, including drugs and guns. Investigators also said an excessive amount of gas was purchased with the department’s fuel card on at least 20 occasions. Grand Junction Mayor Curtis Lane, told WBBJ 7 Eyewitness News he has not received a copy of the findings but is aware that an investigation was taking place. He said once he receives the copy, he will review it with the city attorney and offer a comment. Ryan is also facing charges of official misconduct from a previous investigation.
