Benefit Held for Reed Mitchell

JACKSON Tenn.- A benefit was held on Sunday at the VFW for Reed Mitchell, who has brain cancer. Mitchell is the son of Kelly and Troy Mitchell. Troy was robbed and killed in 2009. Family members say Reed had surgery to remove 98% of the tumor, but he still needs radiation treatments at St. Jude. The Outstanding Young Performers performed for Reed and his family to raise funds. Donations surpassed $1,200 for Reed’s family.
