Jackson Exchange Club Announces Flags of Freedom

JACKSON, Tenn.- The Jackson Exchange Club announced Tuesday it will host its “Flags of Freedom” display for the sixth straight year. The flags will be on display on the front lawn of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church along the Highway 45 Bypass starting May 18. The flags respresent three different groups, military who served and are presently serving, first responders and the children who have lost their lives because of neglect or abuse. “We usually hear nothing but great things from the public. It’s just so exciting to see their reaction, see how much they take to it. and it’s a great spot on the Bypass,” said Drew Yates, president of the Jackson Exchange Club. Flags start a $25-and may be placed in honor or memory of individuals. All of the money raised, benefits the Exchange Club-Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse.
